For our hearing-impaired and international audience, we offer The Story of Stuff captioned in multiple languages on our international site, and our other films are available with captions on our YouTube page. Due to a small technological hurdle, the translated versions are unfortunately not yet available for download.
We also have a variety of other helpful stuff available including more information on the issues presented in the Story of Stuff, recommended reading, and most importantly, how to get involved, in our “Resources” section.
Our curricula and study guides are available for download on the Teaching Tools section of our site. There you will find our faith curriculum, Let There Be…Stuff?, and a link to our new high school-level curriculum, Buy, Use, Toss?, available from Facing the Future.
For those of you looking to purchase DVDs, The Story of Stuff is available for purchase by credit card or check. Click here for info. We plan on having a master DVD that includes all of our films together by early 2011.
Each of our films is covered by a Creative Commons Copyright. If you would like to use our films in way that is not covered by our CCC, please email Renee Shade with more information about your request. Please note that it may take at least one week for a response.
We’re able to keep our films on-line for free because of the generosity of our viewers. If you would like to make a secure, tax deductible on-line contribution to the Story of Stuff Project you can do so here. As much as we’d like to, we can NOT accept PayPal donations at present.
For donations via check, please make your check payable to “Tides Center - Story of Stuff Project,” and mail to our address below, in our footer. Tides Center is our fiscal-sponsor.
