Tommy brings to The Story of Stuff Project 20 years as a communications expert with the Drug Policy Alliance, Tom Steyer 2020 Campaign, and the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office. Throughout his career, Tommy has been instrumental in creating and executing communications strategies around a multitude of social justice and public policy issues.
Tommy’s strength is his ability to understand and connect the dots between housing, community, health, and education. He is a great conversationalist, a strategic thinker, a storyteller, and can translate the language of “policy wonks” into language we can all understand. Tommy is a proud dad (look out world, my children are amazing!), an avid football fan, and part-time musician. In his spare time, Tommy enjoys the outdoors, walks with his dogs, and playing vintage guitars.
